Meet Kathryn

I am a single mother of four successful adult children and the proud owner of an 80-pound Labrador named Max. I enjoy cooking and attending symphony and Broadway shows. Most weekends, you’ll find me swimming in my pool, reading all types of books, visiting auto shows, or enjoying local music concerts.

Background

As a longtime resident of Williamson County, I am deeply attuned to the heart and soul of this community. I graduated from South Texas College of Law in 1990 and currently serve as a Board Director of the Williamson County Bar Association. I have also volunteered with Volunteer Legal Services and served on various State Bar committees.

Experience

During my third year of law school, I worked in the Family Justice Division, preparing cases involving child abuse and sex crimes. I have represented clients certified by the Railroad Commission in litigation arising from the operation of their vehicles. I also worked at the Office of the Attorney General – Tort Litigation Division, defending personal injury, workers’ compensation, and medical malpractice cases on a statewide jury trial docket. For the past 30 years, I have operated my own firm, focusing on family law (with a sprinkling of personal injury cases) and providing mediation services from my office in the historic district of Georgetown, Texas. When elected, I will bring a diligent work ethic and decades of experience to ensure swift and effective judicial rulings for litigants in County Court at Law #3. I am ready to hit the ground running.
